Lydian’s Stakeholder Engagement as an Effective Awareness and Communication Mechanism

The Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) outlines how stakeholders have been and will be informed and consulted on the impact assessment process and its various stages at Amulsar gold mine. Feedback on stakeholder concerns is received through a variety of mechanisms, including the Amulsar Information Centre.

The Stakeholder Engagement Plan presents the stakeholder engagement requirements specified in the International Finance Corporation’s Performance Standard I and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s Performance Requirement I.

From a practical perspective, the SEP communicates the approaches used by the Company to engage with communities and other interested or affected stakeholders. Broadly, the Company seeks to keep stakeholders informed of social and environmental performance of the project, to support capacity building, to promote sustainable development, to minimize conflict using a grievance mechanism, and to receive feedback from stakeholders, including questions and concerns.
